Thaís Passos Fonseca

Thaís was born and raised in Brazil, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine and worked for 10+ years. She moved to the US in 2007 to study at the UW-Madison, where she earned a Master of Science in Agroecology. She also holds a Master of Arts from UW in Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies (LACIS), with a specialization in Translation. Outside of the Lab, she enjoys being with her family, dog, and friends.
