Ryan Hopper

Ryan grew up in New Jersey and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pennsylvania. He then on to Michigan State University to study veterinary medicine. After earning his DVM he travelled to Blacksburg Virginia to complete a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Virginia-Maryland’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Ryan is interested in pursuing a specialty in Veterinary Ophthalmology. He joined the Mowat Lab in 2023 and is a member of our dog aging study team. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, reading, playing guitar, and rooting for the Packers.
